Your Job
The CTV Business Developer's core mission is to drive Sparteo's strategic expansion into the Connected TV ecosystem by forging high-value, long-term partnerships with CTV device manufacturers (OEMs) and leading application developers across EMEA & US markets. This role is pivotal in establishing Sparteo as a key monetization partner in one of the fastest-growing channels in Adtech.
Strategic CTV Partnership Development
- Prospecting & Sourcing: Systematically identify and map key strategic targets within the CTV landscape, including smart TV manufacturers, streaming device makers (dongles, set-top boxes), and top-tier CTV/OTT application publishers.
- Value Proposition & Pitching: Develop and articulate a compelling, tailored value proposition for each prospect, demonstrating how Sparteo’s technology suite can solve their specific monetization challenges and unlock new revenue streams.
- Negotiation & Closing: Lead complex commercial negotiations, navigating technical and business requirements to structure and close multi-year partnership agreements that align with Sparteo's strategic and financial objectives.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Market Intelligence: Act as Sparteo’s expert on the CTV market, maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging technologies (e.g., new operating systems, ad formats), and evolving partner needs.
- Internal Feedback Loop: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams, translating market feedback into actionable insights to guide the evolution of Sparteo's CTV product offering.
- Industry Presence: Represent Sparteo as a thought leader at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build our brand credibility and expand our network within the CTV community.
Partnership Launch & Initial Growth
- Onboarding Coordination: Quarterback the initial onboarding process, ensuring a smooth technical and operational handover to the Account Management and Solutions Engineering teams post-signature.
- Initial Success Management: Act as the strategic point of contact during the first months of the partnership to ensure successful integration, meet initial performance KPIs, and lay the foundation for a long-term, scalable relationship.
Your profile for this job
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a business development or strategic sales role within the AdTech or digital media industry. A minimum of 2-3 years must be directly focused on the Connected TV (CTV) ecosystem.
- Network: A proven, active network of contacts within CTV/OEM manufacturers (e.g., Samsung, LG, Vizio, Roku, TCL) and/or major CTV app publishers is a strong requirement.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including programmatic, display, video, audio advertising, or expertise in the CTV or app monetization space.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-centric environment and adapt strategies based on market feedback and performance analytics.
